I’ve been with my husband for over 20 years. We have four kids and two of them were diagnosed with ADD. I need suggestions on how can I convince him that he needs to learn about it instead of leaving it all to me? One of our kids is 18 & graduated this year🙌🏽 Now, his dad tells me that our son should go straight to the military and save the college money for the youngest (who is not diagnosed). I am heart broken to hear him say this and asked him to never let my son know how he truly feels 😢

Sorry to break it to your hubs but you are disqualified if you're diagnosed with Add. I know because I have it and was disqualified. The army was willing to turn an eye and allow me in anyway but I didn't want to do the army really.
I'd be so angry if my husband said this. I have severe adhd and went to college and graduated with a BS. We just have to work a little harder.
Thanks Katie. We are seeing a counselor and will bring it up, hopefully he comes around and support his kids… sigh
