Just recently started as well. She turned 3 two weeks ago. We noticed a lot of dry nappies and she showed interest in using the toilet and potty. So we gave her some nappy free time, she emptied her changing table and said goodbye to the nappies and we bought "big girl pants". That is 2.5 weeks ago and we still have daily accidents. But it is getting better. We also bought a foldable training seat, when we are out s she hates using the toilet as it is and does nit want to use the potty.
Big boy pants will trigger him to pee as to them it feels the same as a nappy, let him be fully naked and see how it goes, have a potty near him all the time and prompt him to go
He’s been nappy free since like 9am & nothing as yet ….. he hates the potty that’s my issue he won’t go near it!!!😢😢
@Lisa maybe letting him pee into a a cup?
@Paloma maybe a little random, I don’t want to confuse him and think it’s ok to do that.
@Lisa boys travel potty look like cups 😂 essentially is just to let him see it’s okay to pee outside of a nappy so maybe instead of sitting in the potty let him stand and make it a game like “let’s see if you can pee and blow bubbles at the same time”
My daughter has only just started telling me that she needs toilet, just stick to doing it inside for now until he’s able to tell you and then start doing it outside. It’s taken my daughter months to start saying it. It gets easier x
