I believe it's still considered a meal even if they don't eat any of it.... It's all learning 🤷
Mine swallows barely anything! But gets offered once or twice a day and puts some in his mouth or doesn't, I leave it up to him. He hates all purees so far so it will be slow.
@Lara James is that baby pasta or just normal? I’ve been scared to try it but I know I need to at some point! Can I ask what you add? Thank you!
That looks amazing @Lara James
Can I ask do you all give milk before or after?
@Lara James does she like chew it? Or just swollow whole? I’m so bad at weaning scared of choking but I want to start feeding more than pouches! Thanks for replying!
It really depends on the baby, it just a few spoons of food is all your baby wants at 6 months that's absolutely fine. It's helpful to share but please don't compare to other babies as they will all go at their own pace.
@Ashleigh does your son actually chew the toast? Mine sucks it for hours and then leaves it mushy 🙄
@Sana he has a few mouthfulls but he does tend to suck most of it
My little girl only eats around half a pouch at a time x
Mine chokes on the smallest thing, only tolerates the very smooth purees at the moment..has about half a pouch..they are all different she's my 4th child x
My 6 month old will eat 2 tablespoons portion of banana porridge and 1/4 of a fruity custard pot before he starts spitting it out and playing with it
@Isabelle I give my little boy milk at usual 4/5 hourly intervals and feed him solids in between milk feeds. So I'll feed him solids at around 4.30 and give him his bedtime bottle at around 6
@Ashleigh what is this please? Those things on the right?

@Beth stawberry and banana french toast and then those on the right are the organix banana weaning wands which he loves! I always offer him them as I know he will eat them x
@Ashleigh looks good, how do you make French toast? That's one of the next on my list to try! Iv not tried any of the organix things or anything similar yet either, might give them a go! X
My LG has usually 2-3 meals a day. Todays food; Breakfast-porridge and strawberry’s. Lunch- seasoned roasted butternut squash Dinner- Thai green curry with jasmine rice. Snacks- sucked on cucumber and a cracker Considering she doesn’t have any teeth and only started weaning 2 weeks ago, she eats food really well. I feed her so that’s probably why.
@Lara James hey, what’s the recipe for this orzo please? Looks really nice xx
My little girl will finish a pouch per meal x
