2 year sleep regression

My 22 month old son has I think been in the 2year regression for about 2.5 weeks and teething the last molars). He gets up around midnight every single night. Screaming, standing up in his crib. I try to not pick him up but he has started yelling when I go to leave the room. After over an hour (sometimes more) of trying I end up bringing him into our bed so we can both get sleep. This has been the only time we’ve co slept. Has anyone else one through this? I’m scared he won’t ever want to sleep alone again but I can’t stay up all night long. He previously was a great sleeper, and would sleep 11-12 hours right through the night.

I hear you. I feel we went back into regression this week as well ( 22 month). My little one has not been great sleeper ever, and i only finally was able to sleep through the night since end of May, so it is tough. We have transitioned him to toddler bed ( he can clime out of it) so i keep an eye at him via monitor if he wakes up at night, if he does not fall back asleep or cries become more " urgent", i come to his room, give hugs. I have to admit, i had to sleep on the floor (sunday) and now the mattress ( monday) while he is in his bed ( holding his hand or him grabbing my finger) and i get out when i feel he is fully asleep. Worked and not exactly co-sleeping. While your situation is different- think about the adult people you know who still sleep with their mom :) * i know none, so hopefully you will reclaim your sleep and for your little one -full set of teeth is around the corner, that is exciting :)

@Riya it’s so frustrating. He only ever has issues sleeping when he’s teething or if he’s regressing. I’m just worried I’m setting him up for issues by co-sleeping. I want my bed back and I miss my sleeping baby

I'm going through the exact same. 23 months and he is waking up multiple times through the night when he previously slept through on his own. I also transitive him into toddler bed and now after a week of not sleeping and crying I moved his mattress into our room
