@Chloe I just googled the position and that’s exactly how I slept I didn’t think that was co sleeping! I’ll look into it Thankyou! Yeah I don’t blame them for hating being swaddled I wouldn’t like not being able to move either 😅
☺️ Cosleeping following the safe sleep guidelines is not only totally safe in itself, but much much safer than a very tired mummy falling asleep by accident holding baby, or with all the duvet etc in the way, or in a chair etc. Do what you got to do to get by when you’re exhausted! Co sleeping was by far the best sleep me and my son got in the early months!
I co-slept with all my babies. But maybe try wearing a shirt(the bigger the better to wrap around him or the bedding of his bed like it was the sheet and maybe your smell can help a little. I'm in the States so I'm not sure you guys have this but they also have this weird invention that can pat the babies butts for you it looks like a fish.
I kept accidentally sleeping with him when Breast feeding then I searched the safe co sleeping breast feeding position because if I’m going to do it either way atleast I’m doing it safely and we sleep so well! It is very scary when they’re so little but subconsciously you know they’re there even when sleeping! We both sleep so good like this
I co-slept with my first after I kept accidentally falling asleep, and it was great! Unfortunately, my 10 week old doesn't like it
Do you mean you fell asleep in a cuddle curl position? (Google if not sure!) if you did, and you were following other good sleep hygiene rules, that was perfectly safe co sleeping! It’s natural he slept better close to you, almost all babies do! If co sleeping isn’t for you and isn’t something you want to continue with, then lots of practice in the cot and giving him time, with lots of reassurance etc. My son haaaated being swaddled, and it made no difference to how well he did or didn’t sleep!
