Pram bassinet for sleeping?

Hey all! I’m going away with my baby for 3 nights in a couple of weeks. He’ll be about 6 weeks old at the time. I know the bassinet attachments on prams aren’t designed for long periods of sleeping but is it safe to use them? I will be taking mine with me for general use but wondering if I can save space and leave the Moses basket at home and just use the bassinet for sleeping? My car doesn’t have much room for luggage 😫 I have the Cosatto giggle pram bassinet (picture attached)

Check the Cosatto website. Some bassinets are and some aren't :). I know the ocarro from mamas and papas isn't but the uppababy one is. It depends on the material they use for the bassinet

The carrycot attachment on my pram is “sage for occasional overnight sleeping” and we used it loads for our baby when she was first born and refused to sleep in the next to me cot! Going away for a week very soon and plan to use the carrycot as her crib while we’re there - but yes check your brand is safe for overnight sleeping x

Just checked cosatto’s website and the bassinet is suitable for occasional overnight sleeping apparently! Thanks for the suggestion guys 😁 I should have checked their site first haha

So sorry nothing to do with post but, omg this is the pushchair I want I lobe it, not been and tried it yet as still only 10 +3, would you recommend this pushchair? I'm just unsure about the 3 wheels is it sturdy enough, hope you don't mind the questions xx

We have the same buggy as you and used it for a 2 night stay when LO was 6 weeks and she was fine in it! X

Usually the manufacturer will say if they bassinet can be used that way, I have the uppababy vista v2 stroller and the bassinet can be used for overnight sleeps
