Pregnancy skincare

WHAT are you all using for skincare during pregnancy? My skin is way more oily than normal (probably all the DHA in the prenatal vitamins) and my usual products are too harsh for pregnancy (I used A313 retinol religiously). I have very bad rosacea and have been breaking out in random places, like my SCALP! Plz Send tips

Biossance and Pai products were a godsend throughout my pregnancy. Have a look into them x

I’m not sure if it is too harsh for you if you have rosacea, but when my skin is very oily I have had good success with adding a drop or two of lactic acid serum to my regular face serum. I have The Ordinary lactic acid and Cosrx snail mucin essence for that purpose. Just follow up with a good moisturizer to keep the treated skin from drying out from the treatment. For my head I use the head and shoulders natural line. I’m not sure if the dandruff treatment also works for rosacea but it’s pretty gentle and moisturizing without leaving residue.

Will have a look!

Hey I used to swear by dermalogicas special cleansing gel and daily micro folliant. However that is bloody expensive so since baby I tried out neutrogena hydro boost cleanser. I use the pixi glow tonic, pixi collagen tonic and mostly all of the nuetrogena (can’t spell it lol) hydro boost line as it isn’t oil based. I started this routine when I was preggers & bout to pop and I’m still going. La Roche posay is good for rosacea I heard. As for the scalp it’s probably hormone based but you might want a clarifying shampoo nothing moisturising ❤️

@Coral I love lactic acid, I used to use Sunday Riley Good Genes all the time but the UK doesn’t sell the same formula with the lactic acid in it, I didn’t realize the ordinary made one, I’ll pick some up
