Owlet problem

So I’m that paranoid first time mama, I’m also adopted and don’t know much about my own first three months of life so I blame that for this. And sadly as well my husband’s best friend lost his 3 month old to SIDS so that play a role in us purchasing the owlet. We mainly bought it so we could watch her vitals and if anything dipped we would be alerted. We thought we’d test it out since our little one will be here in the next two weeks. And now we’re finding out it doesn’t do that and we just spent 300$ on a sleep tracker. We tried everything to get it to work but it’s still not showing the vitals. Is there away around this or is false advertising?

I have the same questions! I know the first model did vitals and alerts but the more I try to research the more I find that the model that actually did vitals is no longer available because it was classed as medical equipment and that's why they are coming out with the prescription version later this year. I am still unclear on if this current model has any vitals and it's so frustrating.

@Morgan omg thank you. I’m so confused on what I bought. And now I’m questioning is there any thing on the market that monitors the vitals

My baby is due in 2 weeks and decided on the Miku. Maybe this would interest you https://mikucare.com
