My boy did that for a few weeks then he moved past it. It's not a thing anymore

my son is currently doing this i think they’re just discovering their bodies

Developmentally normal, don’t teach her it’s a bad thing. I would just say “we don’t do that when mommy’s changing your diaper” I work as a daycare teacher and we’re taught it’s all normal and natural, just figuring out her body :)

It's a normal development in babies, eventually they discover that there's more to their bodies than just fingers and toes. The best way to deal with it is to just let them, as strange as it may sound. They're just curious is all.

My LO is going thru this phase now. I just give him a toy to preoccupy him while I change the diaper
