5 weeks + 5 days Heavy bleeding

Hi everyone!! So earlier this afternoon I started bleeding quite a bit. Went to the ER ran some tests and had a transvaginal ultrasound. Afterwards my diagnosis was A blighted ovum. For anyone who doesn’t know what that is it is a type of miscarriage that can happen early in a pregnancy. A blighted ovum is when a sac and placenta grow, but a baby does not. Then I got diagnosed for Polycystic ovary syndrome… sucks they told me that if I want more kids to try while I’m still young as I might not be able to as I get to late 20s…but then a new nurse came in saying the replayed my ultrasound video and was able to find the fetus and prescribed me prenatal…I’m just pretty upset on why someone would tell me I basically never grew a fetus when they clearly weren’t sure cuz they replayed the video and found it. The bleeding was caused from a small rip in the sac which should go away on it’s own just no sex or doing basically anything lol…But at the end of the day I’m super happy that my little baby is okay:)

Everyone pray for me to have a girl cuz I already have a boy and I may not be able to have more after this😢

Please don’t let doctors scare with you the diagnosis of pcos. They are so uneducated and it’s such a grey area. Sadly you have to do your own research, but there is plenty good research out there. I have pcos and have a 18 month old and currently 7 weeks. It’s absolutely not impossible to get pregnant as they make out. Sending positive thoughts to you x x

I am so, so sorry. I hope you have a lot of support right now. I know you will have another chance. This is not the end for you. 🙏🏾 My sister has PCOS and was told she would have a hard time getting pregnant. Needless to say, that has not been the case AT ALL.

I'm sorry to hear you ended up miscarrying. I was diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago at 25. There are some tips and tricks to getting it under control and increasing your chances of getting pregnant. I'm on my third pregnancy in the last 18 months but my first did take 7 years to conceive. I got rid of my stressful job and I've never been more fertile it seems. So don't let the diagnosis scare you. It's just one more thing to have to consider.

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Possible blood clot on the lung /VQ scan

Has anyone had a VQ scan for possible blood clots. As I need to have to have one and concerned due to the radiation and possible risk of baby having childhood cancer.

Review at 36 weeks

Has anyone had An anesthesia review at 36 weeks?
What is this for as I never had this with my first?
I am being scanned every 3 weeks as my first was small and now my second is measuring small.

Baby girl names

Love pretty shorter names such as Millie, Gracie, Lottie. My husband only likes Millie and I’m struggling to find anything else he likes! However I’m not 100% on Millie.

Love Lilly, Maisie, Isabelle, Tilly but sadly can’t use these sadly.

We have a little boy called Oliver (Ollie).

Middle name will be Rae.

Any ideas?🙈

Anyone else still feeling really good

If I hadn’t of had a scan I wouldn’t believe I was pregnant. I was tired with sore boobs and this is still the case but no where near as much. I feel so good. I am incredibly bloated though but I can deal with that. My first pregnancy I suffered with dizziness really bad so this is a pleasant change.
