Baby clothes

I’d say get a few newborn bits. If you need more it’s simple to just order some more online but if you don’t then you haven’t wasted money. My first was 9lb 4oz and he wore just newborn for a couple of weeks so I have maybe 10 pieces but will buy more if I have a smaller baby this time. I am only taking newborn to the hospital xx

I bought my first all 0-3 because everyone was saying they will be big and they grow so fast. But he was drowned in them at 7.6lbs. He was in newborn for a few weeks. I had family go and buy me a pack of newborn onesies and vests whilst I was still in hospital. They fit him so much better. And now I have them for my second too

I have few newborn clothes, but I have to admit I packed newborn as well as 0-3 for a hospital bag just in case.
I bought a lot of newborn brand new clothes with tags on vinted, very cheap - people do over buy and then sell. I have this strange feeling that I’ll be one re- selling them in few months time. Maybe get some just in case, but re-sell if you don’t use. I wouldn’t go crazy and spend a lot for things you may not even need - or need for long. Xx

I've got 0-3 and newborn just incase but keep newborn minimal as they probably won't be in them for long xx

My little man was born 7lb 2 and lots of newborn and 0-3 were too big on him. I found the Tesco up to 1 month fit him the best! H&M 0-1month were good too 💙 every store is different. Some of the newborn are still big on him now at 5 weeks 🤣

Iv bought some newborn and some first size, as everyone told me 0-3 would be massive on a newborn. Just get a small bundle from Vinted or something xx

I had a fair few newborn bits for my daughter when she was born in 2020, she never used any of them as she was 4,5 kg(don’t know exactly what that is in pounds)when she was born 😂.
This time around I have only bought 0-3 months clothes(+the stuff we have from big sister) and if they’re too big they can always be rolled up, or I’ll send my partner to the shop 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I got more newborn bits this time round. I was told with my daughter not to bother and just get 0-3, but we had to go out in a panic and get loads of newborn stuff, because 0-3 swamped her for at least 3 weeks. You could get a mixture of newborn, which goes up to 7.5lb and up to 1 month, which goes up to 10lb

I have a small amount of tiny baby, then some newborn, then a bigger amount of first size or upto 1 month and then quite a bit of 0-3 months this is baby number 7 for me I’ve packed newborn and first size for hospital xx

My little one was estimated 8lb 7 3 weeks before I gave birth and she ended up being 6lb exactly and didn’t even fit into newborn. I had to get someone to pick up tiny baby. I would maybe get just 1 vest and sleepsuit in tiny baby just incase and deffo some newborn

Thank you everyone. I have a few vests and baby grows in new born but Im going to buy her some more, I’ve also been told I could be induced at 38 weeks so she could be smaller x

I've bought newborn 0-3 and even given 3-6
I'm worried because he's estimated 5lb 7 already and I'm 33 weeks. So he's gonna be a big baby.

I have bought 10 sleep suits for newborn and some vests. That’s it. I have mainly bought 0-3. They do grow quick so I’ve just bought minimum newborn. Deffo worth having some though xx

I've bought Tiny Baby because my first was only 5lb 9oz at full term so even newborn swamped her!
But also have Newborn and 0-3 in case this is little lady is a chonk😂

I've bought bundles on Vinted so haven't spent a fortune if the really dinky stuff doesn't fit ☺️ xx

I only have a few "newborn"/up to 7lbs, then more in the "up to one month" size which for most is up to 10lbs and then more again in 0-3.
