Hi all, I’m on CD1 of my 4th frozen cycle and I’m instantly upset after the last years heartache and anxious about this one not working out either. It’s our last embryo too so I’m stressed just thinking about what will happen after :(
Anyway, has anyone used embryo glue before? What was the outcome?
My clinic haven’t ever mentioned it but they’ve also not changed my protocol since the last FET so looks like I’m going to have to ask for changes…

Hi lovely, sorry you’ve had a heartbreaking time of it.
We have used embryo glue all 3 times and the third one worked. I don’t think it had anything to do with the glue though as we changed so much else 🤷🏼♀️

I’ve used it for all 3 transfers. 1st was a chemical, 2nd ended in a missed miscarriage and 3rd has resulted in my 6 week old.
So technically I’ve had implantation every time I’ve used it. It’s just some of the embryos themselves weren’t able to make it.

Hi Charlie! Can you share what you changed in your protocol that your FET worked?

Hi Claire, I used embryo glue on my second FET which was successful but not on my first which was successful. Obviously it’s hard to say if that led to the success but we were open to trying other things in the hope that subsequent transfers were successful. We also did accupuncture in the successful transfer.
Wishing you lots of strength and best wishes for your current cycle x

Thanks everyone x

Haven’t used embryo glue, but wanted to say that I started meds for our 4th round today, and it’s also our last embryo 🤞🏻

So sorry youve not had success yet, fingers crossed for your next one! 🤞🏼🫶🏼 I used it for both FETs as they included it as standard with nhs rounds, also assisted hatching! 1st didn’t take atall but 2nd worked ❤️

hi Sarah, sorry for delayed reply! Um we changed a LOT. We basically did everything differently. We had had two failed PGT tested FETs and so we spent a year after that doing all sorts of tests, including immune.
I decided I wanted to do a more natural transfer as well so we did a mild stim FET rather than a fully medicated hrt one. Then I was on loads of immune drugs including steroids, blood thinners, metformin and a few others- but were all tailored to me based on blood results etc. I also had a hysteroscopy where they had widened my uterus somewhat.
So yeah we basically did it all completely different this time!

Thank you for your detailed response ❤️
