My son normally has a 7oz bottle at 6:30am 10:30am 2:30pm and 6:30pm. The past week or so he’s not been finishing them or ‘asking’ for them before he has them so I think he’s ready to drop a bottle.
Today he had his first bottle and I thought I’d wait until he ‘asks’ for his next one. But it got to 12 and he’s still his happy self (he’d had breakfast and lunch by this point). I offered him a bottle at 12:30om before his nap but he only had 1oz then napped for 1.5hrs. He’s now had his second 7oz bottle at 2:15. I want him to have another at 6:30/7pm before bed.
Really I just want to know is that first stretch too long? He’s on 3 meals a day and eats well. Should I just swap the 10:30am bottle for a snack and then carry on the day as usual? He’s 8.5 months😊

We are very similar, she had 4x8oz last week & same as you I felt like she didn’t really want/need it with increase of food.
She now has a bottle at 7, 1 & 7 with breakfast and dinner (we don’t do lunch yet) but she’s happy and still sleeping through, plus drinks it all. I think just follow their lead, they will let you know if they’re hungry & if you’re offering and he’s not taking it he must be happy x

We dropped 2 bottles in a week when we started introducing lunch. He has 3 x 8 oz. One at 5am, 11am and 7pm for bedtime. Sometimes if he doesn’t eat much he’ll have a 6/7 oz in the afternoon. Xx

We’re now on 3 too, 7:30, 1:30 & 7 with breakfast lunch & dinner in between x

We’re on three bottles with three meals: 8am, 1/1.30pm, 7pm x
