Milk allergy
How long after you babies milk got switched did it take for they’re rash to go away? My son ended up having it pretty severe and itchy. I was just wondering how long does it usually take to go down?

For us it took 1-2 weeks to adjust. Try some coconut oil on it! Or you can make an oatmeal paste that soothes it too
I use aveeno to wash him and the doctors have given me epimax to help soothe it, he just got it so bad in the matter of 36 hours and I feel so bad for the poor guy he couldn’t sleep properly
Aveeno caused my baby with the same intolerance to have some breakouts too and apparently it was because there is Soy in it which replicates the milk protein that they are allergic or have the intolerance too - coconut oil is all natural and has anti microbial properties to heal, so we just use it for literally everything now 🤣
If you’re looking for a store bought safe wash, you can use Pipette, Honest or Babo Organics - or even unscented Castile Soap…just about everything else has chemicals, soy, or “fragrance” which irritates most babies with this intolerance or ones prone to eczema (even the ones recommended by Drs and that advertise otherwise). I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on this topic I swear haha.
For us it took about 3 to 4 weeks to completely go. We struggled with people feeding him milk while we were working though.
I have never seen or heard any of them brands. My son is allergic to Johnson’s and dove, so the doctors suggested aveeno as eventhough me nor his dad has eczema in our family he’s come out in it when he was little
it’s his first day of the milk and I’m struggling to get it down him, I have to do it bit by boy but slowly it’s going
Pipette is at Walmart and Target and Amazon, and Honest at Walmart and Amazon - I’ve only ordered Babo Organics off Amazon. All really good prices too! Yeah the Drs recommended all types of crap for us that ended up making things worse or was toxic unfortunately 😭
