How do I best treat diaper rash? My 4 month old has slight rash, in his butt area with white pimples.

I like panaten cream the beat. Apply it at every diaper change, even pees, until the rash is gone.

Constrach or Penaten

Agree to Sudocream works like a magic whenever my LO has diaper rash.

I swear by earth mama organics diaper balm. We put a tiny amount on every diaper change and she has never had a rash or irritation!!

I love Aquaphor Healing Ointment! You can get it on Amazon. Used it for both my babes and has worked beautifully

another one for sudocrem 👍 a little every change does wonders. We even use it under her chin where she can get a rash from all her drool 🤤

I have been using desitin from the beginning.
Should I change to sudocream?

Penaten is the one that worked for us but sometimes the change is what makes it work. We used sudocrem at first and it didn't work as well for us

maybe see if you can get a sample, maybe from pharmacy? But just reread your original post and you mention white spots, might want to talk to your doc as that can be sign of a yeast infection - fairly common but will need other anti fungal cream. I think you can also speak to that pharmacist now about those.

I agree what said about the white spots. Please check with your Doc regarding this. Regarding the sudocrem, you can try with the small one from Amazon (costs 5 dollars) if you don’t get the sample from Pharmacy.

Sudocrem overnights, and Live Clean Baby Non-Petroleum Jelly during the day (unless she has an active rash, in which case just Sudocrem until it clears up).
Seems to be a good balance of keeping the skin hydrated while also protecting it.
She got one really bad rash early on when we were only using Penaten, but this combo has been a game changer
We also try to let her air dry during changes, so I'll sing to her and blow raspberries on her belly to keep her entertained while she dries off. I don't have the courage to let her be naked on a change pad 😅

If possible try to keep the baby diaper free for 5-10 minutes between a diaper change. Sudocream and diaper free time worked for us.
