No to lockdown thanks

I've not heard anything about another lockdown ...

I highly doubt there will be another lockdown, and if there is I doubt anyone will take it seriously considering the way the government acted in the first one.

There needs to be a pandemic before there is a lockdown and thankfully there isn't one right now. The economy in the UK is pretty bad so the Government won't lockdown unless they really have to so I think we are good. No worries.

Oh no! There better not be another lockdown! I refuse to comply if there is! I missed out on so much when we went into lockdown, after I'd had my daughter 4 years ago. I realise that there was people who had worse experience than what I did. However, I'll never get that time back & it makes me feel sad. I refuse to blindly go along with it this time! No way am I living under house arrest all whilst the government are laughing at us on the other side of their faces, all partying away throwing their money around.

Just because it's on the news doesn't mean people will comply

I think we're safe, I can't see that ever happening.

There’s not been lockdown since 2021 so I think it would be highly unlikely, there’s also nothing in papers other than measures like vaccines for winter again but this is the same as it was last year and there weren’t any lockdowns then.

Try not to worry about it as it is unlikely and it’s something you don’t need stressing you out xx

Every report about covid rising cases says that a lockdown is extremely unlikely.

Exactly why I don’t watch or listen to the news, pure scaremongering. I honestly wouldn’t listen to it if I were you, you don’t need that kind of stress and anxiety in your life.
The second lockdown I was pregnant with my first and was obsessed with the news, listening to the media and what they were telling us. I got so stressed and anxious I was scared to be at work and go into shops, fear that something was going to happen in my pregnancy. For my own mental health I had to stop x

Definitely won't be another lock down. My midwife told me yesterday they are bringing forward covid boosters and pregnant women will be a priority but that's it! There's just a new variant around so they are being cautious

Was what you read in relation to schools? Because that is regarding schools that are built with concrete that has been deemed to be unsafe - they’ve been told to close until the schools can be made safe. The articles I read were just using the ‘lockdown’ comparison in relation to the educational conditions of lockdown: online lessons etc., xx

Can’t see happening it myself, they’d likely restrict stuff before jumping into a lockdown again. Either way I can’t see it happening
