I’m 35 weeks and my baby is hiccuping for the 3rd time today, is this normal or do I need to ring someone? X

I'm pretty sure this is absolutely normal. It happens when they drink too much amniotic fluids. My baby normally has it in the evening for some time 😊

I had this 4 times today at 32 weeks. Called the midwives and they said it’s absolutely fine, normal for some babies xx

My first used to hiccup all the time! Honestly it’s nothing to worry about and it doesn’t bother baby either

I was speaking g about this with the midwife yesterday and she let me know that they can vet them often if you are having ao.ething sweet to eat or drink. Mines does it anytime I have a bit of fruit. X

Thanks everyone, that makes me feel better 😅 x

I'm 34+2 and baby currently has hiccups for the 5th time today. Its been like this for the past week or so. I asked my midwife earlier and she said it's totally normal. X

I think hiccups are important for their lung development? Mine has at least 4 times per day since I started being able to differentiate from kicking which was only really from 30 weeks

It took me ages it was hiccups not just a rhythmic kick!

My girl hiccups 3-5 times a day and has been for a few weeks. I'm 35w tomorrow x
