Hi mamas,
I’m taking my nearly 5 month old baby to cinema tomorrow for the first time. It’s not a baby friendly film, it’s something I wanted to watch.
I wanted to ask for tips and how to make the experience best for both of us.
Please help.

I took my little one during the holidays with her older siblings. She sat on my knee and loves watching the screen. She watched all the adverts, feel asleep as soon as the film started and woke up ten mins before the end. I would say take a blanket. It's cold in there! X

Oh I loved it! I went to watch barbie with my little one. She seemed to enjoy watching the screen and she did get a little fussy at one point but she wasn't the first baby to make some noise and people were getting up to bounce their babies and walk them around so it was really chill. And there was maybe only around 15 other people there and plenty of space for prams etc.
I just wish I'd taken more snacks 😂

We go to Baby Club Cinema often. Last Film we saw was Oppenheimer. Change nappy just before you go in.
If you aren’t breastfeeding take more milk than you’d expect to just incase.
Bring a blanket to snuggle baby in your arms.
Bring snacks that are easy to eat one handed.
Expect to have to get up if baby fusses and stand in the corridor or over at the side to rock them.

Update, Cinema was a flop experience :( he didn’t like the loud sound. I had defenders, but didn’t train him in it, so he didn’t like them on. I had to skip the movie.

oh sorry to hear that. Try again. Find your nearest baby Club Cinema Session. They lower the sound
