Covid?
My partners just found out he has Covid today. He’s sleeping downstairs, but it’s inevitable we’re going to get it. Because we’re in the same house.
I’m not bothered about me catching it, more my baby.
Has anyone’s babies had Covid and how did they do? She’s 8 months.

We all had covid in our house a few weeks ago and little girl got over the worst in 2 days with plenty calpol and fluids, I was really unwell with it as apparently this new strain is really taking it out of people, hopefully you both manage to avoid it! Xxx

we had her up in a&e a few nights before we tested positive and they said she had an ear infection cause she had a raging temp, really grumpy, shivering and being sick on and off…. When we born tested positive our HV said she will most likely have for it too and that’s what lead to the ear infection! I was so scared when we were positive but honestly she was absolutely fine, as long as you’ve had your vaccines they said baby would be protected as much as she could be as it’s passed on to baby when pregnant xxx
You may not necessarily get it. I had it and my little girl would not leave my side, but she never caught it, and neither did my partner
Still take the usual precautions and hope no one suffers to badly
We've just come out the other end of having covid. My little one was poorly for 2 days, handled it much better than I did 😅 He was lethargic and napped a lot. He was not really wanting to play or eat/drink very much. He had a snotty nose and a slight cough and also had a temperature for 2 days. We gave him calpol for the duration of his temperature, and he was pretty much back to his normal self on day 3 x
Hopefully your little one doesn’t, it’s always a worry. I’ve surrounded myself with covid in hopes of catching it and getting it done with when my partner had it I mean it I tried EVERYTHING to get it. I just seem to not be able to get it
I think we have had it well me and my little girl. I’d been really poorly tested and was negative but honestly felt more poorly than when I had Covid and lost my taste and smell LO stared about 10 days after me and we ended up in a and e and her breathing was that bad the first question they asked was had anyone been positive with Covid or have you had contact I said no as I had been negative but I only tested the once amd last time i was positive took 5 days of being poorly to test positive doctors said it was bronchitis but looking back she did have Covid symptoms so think it was that she still got a snotty nose and chesty breathing 6 weeks later
