RASH

I noticed that my 3 week old keeps on getting diaper rashes and this time on his bumbum. I've tried many things but they come back. What has helped your babies with rashes?

What type of creams are you using? And how often does your LO get bathed?
Some babies just get rashes but if you but cream on religiously then it should clear up

The rash could also be an allergic reaction to whatever you’re feeding him. Sometimes you only have an external allergy and not an internal one, so when they poop and it gets on their skin they have the skin reaction.

really? Like an allergy rash only on that part of the body? Like the bumbum? My baby had a bad rash on her bum but I didn’t think it could be an allergy😱 she started weaning too😰 I’m now worried 😅

No like they’re allergic on the skin but not in their organs so while they eat it it won’t affect them but if you were to take that food any put it anywhere on their body it would cause a rash outbreak.

It’s just that with babies you’re most likely to see it around the mouth cause that’s where they get the food at most while eating, and in diapers when it comes back out.

I bath him every 3 days. If he sweats a lot then more regularly.

My baby got diaper rashes constantly the first few weeks of his life, we ended up narrowing it down to sensitive skin and not the best diapers for it, we switched to completely hypoallergenic diapers (we buy the Huggies special delivery) that and using desitin every diaper change works wonders
