My daughter has been prescribed Omeprazole but gets upset and spits it out. First day I used the syringe and she was crying and making choking sounds. Most of it ended up on her bib. This morning I used a spoon but she behaved the same. Ive no idea how much she's actually swallowing! Plus it's awful seeing her get upset and Im anxious she will proprly choke.
Any tips on how to get her to swallow it? Or does anyone else's LO do this but still get enough in to help with reflux?

Does your little one use a dummy? There’s this dummy that has a syringe within it and you can put the medication in that way, Don’t know if that would help? Xx
No I've tried but she won't take one ☹️ thank you for the suggestion though.
Thanks I'll definitely try much smaller amounts tomorrow and see how we go x

Is she bottle fed? If so, we do it with the first bottle of the day when he’s just woke up. Few sucks of the bottle, remove, squirt into cheek, immediately replace bottle, repeat until syringe is emptied. It’s the only way he keeps it in!

I mix mine with 1 oz of milk.
