Sitting up?

I sometimes use a blow up doughnut thing for my baby to sit in he seems to like it x

Following as we're having the same at the minute. I've found things called sit me ups that look good. Trying to find one second hand as they are £40 plus new

Just bought a second hand sit me up ring for £5

The reason they're targeted for 6mo+ is because it would put far too much pressure on baby's hips and back to sit for prolonged periods this young. Even bouncers are recommended to only be used for a maximum of 20mins twice a day.
Sit up chairs (bumbo I know is 3+ months) are known to delay development rather than encourage it, baby will learn to rely on the support rather than learn to sit independently. The best thing to do is continue sitting on your knee for short periods and you can use cushions on the floor to support independent sitting.
My sons are the same, my first was sitting independently at 4mo by having lots of floor time and it looks like my 3mo will follow suit, he's been rolling consistently from around 9weeks but I only use a container for 20mins on 4 evenings a week when my husband is working so I can do my 3yo bed time, the rest of the time hes either on me or on his play mat on the floor so he's constantly moving around x

I just bought the red kite sit me up from Argos, it’s quite good! X

we have the mammas and pappas chair but sadly wont be using it until he can support his head a little more but i think it will he good for then!xx

We just sit her up with us or use her feeding pillow to prop her up but haven’t brought anything yet as unsure what is best xx
