Lo crying
My daughter is 7 weeks 2mora and since 4am she's been crying alot more, normally she's a happy baby but today she wouldn't go back to sleep this morning after bottle was crying, by half 5/6 I put her in our bed, she went to sleep, didn't wake till half 11 for a feed, went back to sleep, woke at half 2 went back to sleep, woke at 4 for bottle and been quiet till 5 then crying, gone to sleep now after 2oz of cooled boiled water, she's on reflux milk, anyone else's lo been like this or any idea y she's like this, she's on 4oz normally every 3 odd hours

There is a peak in crying around this time unfortunately - as well as a growth spurt and a sleep regression. We are currently going through it with our baby too xx
Why the water? Water is quite dangerous for babies. It should only be given in exceptional circumstances (like bad constipation), only in advice of your HV or doctor, and no more than an oz in 24 hours.
@Ellie my hv has said if she's screaming and had a feed try 2oz of water, it's rare she has the water xx
My daughter is 6 weeks 3 days and she has been like this the last couple of days, sleeping a lot but very hard to settle when crying which is more often than usual. She is feeding less too as she is sleeping through some feeds so then we're playing catch up. I think it's growth spurt x
