Sticking hands down throat
My baby is sick ALL day long because she constantly has her fingers in her mouth, it’s making her gag and throw up. I have to change outfits about 5 times a day because she’s just constantly soaking through them with watery sick.
Is anyone else’s LO doing this? Don’t know what I can do to stop it :(

Could she be teething? Mine does this but not due to teething. Strangely she does it when she wants to poo. She wriggled around and sometimes makes herself sick with her fingers. I just use distractions to stop mine from doing it or gently pull them out her mouth or encourage her to clench fists so she sucks on fist rather than digging fingers in. It’s hard work tbh!
My LB does this a lot, not to the point he is sick, but gagging. Apparently it’s part of their development to be able to push their own gag reflex and learn to move their tongue around for when they are then eating. According to my long google and weirdly tiktok (hated and now find it very informative) search babies are born with a short gag reflex and they don’t know how to control their tongue for eating. Putting their hands in their mouth and pushing their gag reflex back is their way of learning these things. Hope this helps understanding it all, no advice on how to stop the throwing up unfortunately x
