Advice for giving antibiotics

Hi all! My little one has been in hospital for the last week with septic arthritis. We've finally been sent home with oral antibiotics after being on an IV for the last week. I'm really struggling to get little one to take the antibiotics without spitting it out. I've tried loads of different techniques as have a few nurses in hospital. Any advice?! Thanks!
