Has anyone “looked” 👀

I’m dying to look at my stitches (3rd degree tear) and my vagina, baby boy is 10 days old & every single day I say I’m going to grab a mirror and have a look but make an excuse not too. I know full when I’m just scared of what I’ll find 😂

I looked at 4 days pp. I’m 5 days now and it’s the piles!!! My vagina is looking normal. I had episiotomy as well but it’s the piles. Ouchy.

I took selfie and zoomed in. I feel better understanding what’s going on down there.

I looked and wasn’t as shocked as I thought I’d be

I feel seen lol! that early on I just let a midwife check my stitches so I didn’t have to 😂

Omg I forgot about the piles 🫣! But that exactly why I feel I should look, because my mind is going wild creating possible images of what it looks like now

this feels me with so much confidence, thank you! Even if it’s a little different I don’t mind but as long as it’s not a drastic wild change

I did on day 3 & she said they were neat but she didn’t see me before hand so I’m hoping my area looks at least somewhat the same, it for sure doesn’t feel the same but maybe that’s psychological😂

I looked and it was far better than I expected it to looks after a second degree tear, different story regarding the piles though! Sweet jesus 😂
