yes! I do find the more you ask them to repeat the less chance there is of them doing it! 🤣 for this reason I don't wanna force it which is what I feel im expected to be doing by MIL. Agreed on the golden memories too 🤣 thanks for the comment ☺️ x

Our little man is saying a lot of words buuut he didn't start walking until 3 weeks ago 🤷🏻 They just do everything in their own time! My MIL was asking for ages "is he walking yet" and was pointing out, at his 1st birthday party, that a little girl a month younger than him was already walking but he couldn't do it 🙄 When we told her he's now walking her response was: "oh good" with a kind of look of relief.

oh I'm sorry. It's really unnecessary to make comments like they do isn't it! Makes you feel like something's wrong, when in actual fact it isn't! It does seem little ones concentrate on one thing at a time. It must be so overwhelming for them to learn all this stuff!! Thanks for your comment ☺️ x

Same here my boy babbles a lot tou hear the odd word here and the he's not walking eathier. He's a happy boy though. Most of the time xx

I think one day they'll just surprise us and start talking. 🤣 and it'll seem a lifetime ago they were quiet 🤭 and with the walking that just comes out of nowhere! It's nice your boy is obviously content and probably more dexterous X

Yeah he very loud when trying to talk lol and yeah they will just start having a chat out of no where haha.
He cruises alot around furniture and pulls himself to standing but he will get there. He's very observant and nosy like his mum haha xxx

If I remember correctly our pediatrician was looking for 4-10 repeated words by 18 months as the milestone and connecting 2 words together as short phrases by age 2.
