I love my son but not as much as I would like to, I'm not the mother I would like to be.
Being honest and feeling horrible of thinking this if I could decide again I wouldn't have him.
My partner and I don't have a good relationship now and one of the reasons I don't leave him is because I don't want to be a single mom, I don't think I can
I know I sound horrible and selfish I just needed to take this out of my chest

What I’m thinking is that you’re feeling this because you really dislike the idea of not loving your baby. What I mean is, you’re going through other things that make you think how would your life be without your baby, which is normal, it’s a normal though that would normally just past without much thought, but you’re giving it importance and that focus is making the thought stay for longer.
I don’t know if I manage to explain myself but my point is, your thoughts don’t make you a bad mom or a terrible person. However, your decisions can potentially affect your life and your baby’s life in not a good way. Staying with someone that is treating you poorly (for example) could indeed create resentment towards your child, or make you feel unfulfilled and incapable of giving your baby what it needs, a happy child needs a happy mom. And I’m saying this from my experience, seeing the effects of a bad marriage in my family. Taking care of yourself is also taking care of your baby ♥️
