6 and 1/2 months old and not sitting unsupported yet

My baby is not sitting up fully by him self ...he will sit up on his own for bit then start falling foward...

Mine doesn’t put himself in seated position but if I put him he has gradually sat up longer and longer.

I used boppy but mainly lots of floor time like 3x per day. I put him in sitting position, I sit behind him, sit him in the sofa. He sat up on his own for the first time on a bed of all places lol. Just keep trying, she will do it soon!

Our physiotherapist said to sit them up and lean them on their hands so they know to out hands out to stop falls, to put something eye level in between their legs and to keep doing 1.5h of tummy time to build the core strength which is apparently #1 for sitting, standing and crawling

I would kinda just sit him up and let him hold onto my fingers he would pull himself and over time I’m guessing that it strengthened his core for him to do it on his own he kinda just did it one day at my parents house and I didn’t believe it till I saw him do it at home the next day he was crawling at 5 months

Lol I try not to get in the hype and trust that baby will do her thing when it's time stop worrying mama all babies are different and go at their own speed.
