Positive or negative test?

I had someone get me tests due to symptoms. The tests they brought were blue dye. I took one and you could see a very very faint line with slight color within the reading window. The older it got the darker the line got. Took the second one in the box later on for comparison and it looks the same as the first did when I first took it. It that a positive or negative? Still taking a first response tomorrow to make sure.
