Don’t worry about it. About 1 out of 4 women get it in their pregnancy. It’s just a germ that is found in the intestines, and it’s not harmful to women. It’s only harmful to babies because they have no immune system but if you get antibiotics during Labour and delivery the baby will be just fine.
(You can also test positive in one pregnancy and negative in another)

I just got my results for my test and I am positive for it... have an ob appointment tomorrow and I will ask questions and update here if you want!

its nothing to worry about. if you test positive they will give you antibiotics before delivery and if you dont have it you wont need to medication. theres nothing to prevent it.
