Possible pre eclampsia
Hi all,
So I’m my last pregnancy I had pre eclampsia which was picked up when I was in early labour.
This time round I have had growth scans and extra checks to ensure it doesn’t develop again.
Yesterday at an appointment they found a small amount of protein in my urine and found that my BP was high.
They are now concerned I am starting to develop pre eclampsia again so therefore will be having another check tomorrow.
My question is.. what we’re your signs/symptoms.. if any? (Never had any signs in my first pregnancy)
I have been seeing some bright spots in my vision and my hands are so sore/achy and slightly swollen (can’t remove my rings) however, that could be down to the suddenly heatwave!!

Following as I am in the same situation. They test my blood pressure Friday it was high then Sunday fine. But I have protein a trace in my urine. Due to go back tomorrow. They did ask me about swelling but I don't have any. Now I am very sleepy and headache starting but that could be the heat
My blood pressure has also been creeping up and I’m now having to be monitored. Can I ask you what your readings were? I had no protein in urine and they did the blood test for it which came back clear. They are now talking about inductions before 40 weeks if it keeps being on the high side 😬 xx

So at my booking appointment it was 102/62 and the last two times have been roughly 140/70ish.
They have said it’s not over the threshold of what they’d be concerned about but compared to my booking appointment it appears high for me!
I am due to have a section next week however have been told that if the number are high again tomorrow I will be asked to go straight in😵💫xx
It is a worry which in turn doesn’t help blood pressure readings! Fingers crossed for you that it stays low for you tomorrow x
