Happy New Week! I enjoyed my weekend. Saturday was pretty chill and Sunday we went to the aquatic center, which I love because there’s no sand involved 😂😂.
I absolutely love to travel and I truly believe it is a big contributor to keeping my mind intact 😅😅

Good morning, Ebony. I'm doing well. Today is my Friday at work, so I'm ready for the weekend to start. Lol. I, too, agree that traveling keeps me sane. I'm READY for another vacation atp. How many states have you visited.? Do you have your passport, and have you been out of the country yet.?

I’ve visited at least a dozen states. Not sure the exact number. My passport is always in GO mode lol. I’ve been out of the country several times. A few places I’ve traveled to are: Jamaica, France, South Africa, Zimbabwe & I guess Puerto Rico counts too since it’s off the mainland.

What about you? I’d love to have a group of moms I travel with because we deserve it & with all that’s going on in the world, it’s safer. I try to take 2 solo trips a year. My Mother’s Day trip next year, God willing, will be to Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹

Nice! I've been to 26 states so far. I have my passport, but I haven't got to stamp it just yet. But I plan on it SOON. I've been to PR as well. That was actually ine of my best trips. It was super dope, but I wouldn't go back. Lol. I really wanna go to London and I'd actually like to go to Italy to try their wine. I wish I had more people to travel with, though. I'm definitely looking for some travel buddies. I've been on 2 solo trips which were both fun and relaxing but when I went to the club it was kind of boring. Are you taking any trips soon before your solo trip next Mother's day.?

What made Puerto Rico so enjoyable for you? London and Italy will be amazing destinations to explore.

It would be great to have travel companions! The biggest things that tend to get in the way are finances, schedules and personalities 😂😂. Something always happens, but we’ll figure it out eventually.

No solo trips planned so far besides visiting a few friends who live out of state. I wanted to go to California to see a few sites and try a few restaurants but I haven’t put the effort into planning it. Plus I’m trying to acquire a few doula clients so I don’t want to limit my availability based on travel plans.

I LOVE California. That is my favorite vacation spot. I used to go every year, but I missed last year. I hope to make it back out there again this year. I enjoyed PR because of the other tourists that were there. They made it extremely fun. However, the people who live there act as though they hate tourists, so I don't plan to go back. I understand the issue with traveling, which is why I hope to soon run into some people who don't have those problems as much. 1 of my travel partners are now in school, so they don't have much freedom, and the other one now has 4 children, so finding a babysitter is hard for her. Hopefully, I'll find some people soon.

I hope you make it back this year too. Don’t make a habit of staying away from one of your favorite places.
