When did you start to allow people to kiss your baby? I’m still very nervous of people kissing him just as I don’t want anything to happen to him but when telling people to enjoy as many cuddles as they like but please refrain from kissing, I’m quite often being ignored.
Just looking to see if anyone has been similar 😔

I’m in the same position. MIL has been told 5 times not to kiss and all his other female family members (5) have smacked lips on her too and then said in response to partner saying no kissing “oh yeah you’re not suppose to” which infuriates me to no end, I’ve decided due to their disrespect of my boundaries and want to protect my LO, no one at any point now or in the future will kiss her if I can avoid it. When my LO grows up she can make that decision for herself as to whether she wants people kissing her.
I avoid visiting them in the week as I am uncomfortable with it and visit with partner who speaks up, but then this takes away the short family time we get together.
I completely understand how you feel in regards to being ignored I’m sorry that you’re going through this x

My parents are allowed to kiss him on the head goodnight but we are the only people who are allowed to kiss him. I stood my ground with my father in law because he kissed my son on the lips and I went mental 😂😂 xx
