Baby safety
We were talking to my husbands step brother about Christmas and he was being really defensive about not cheating his mom saying she was a good/safe person for his baby. his mom fed her 4week grandson RICE in his bottle and the whole time he was here he screamed bloody murder cause his stomach hurts. I feel so bad for the baby and it’s scary because he’s so “mother knows best” that’s he’s trying to talk his wife into starting rice in all of his bottles.

Sadly there's nothing you can really do unless advise to talk to pediatrician first before doing it. Hopefully they do that and pediatrician advises against it and wife has a much bigger say.
that I know of no one asked the pediatrician the dads mom just said he was super fussy because he wasn’t getting full and without even consulting parents decided that that was the plan of action instead of giving more formula
SMH that's not okay. Did your husband try to talk to him about it and how that should not be happening esp this young?
it was his step brothers baby but he’s convinced his mom did it with him too
