Swimming PRACTICALITIES help …

Has anyone taken their baby to water babies swimming?
I am now stressing how on earth will I change myself and her after and before. Do people bring a buggy in as a place to sit baby?

Do you wash baby after?

Also our pool is advising a baby wrap or warm in one over the top of her swimming nappy. I am panicking this means she will be too cold as her feet arms and head will be exposed :(!!

I went today for her my little ones first water babies class. I wore my costume under my clothes on the way there so I only had to change her when I got there (I think I may change her at home and bring her already to go and just check her nappy when I get there - as I got a bit warm and stressed). We can’t bring buggies or car seats as there isn’t enough room so that makes things trickier. I didn’t wash her after, just gave her a bath this evening. My little one is six weeks and wore a happy nappy duo with a fleeced long sleeved swimsuit/wet suit thing and she wasn’t showing signs of being cold. I just had a hooded towel for when she got out the pool. I got her dressed by the poolside first into a sleep suit so she wouldn’t be cold and just make sure her hair was dry. I also brought an extra towel for her to lay on and her changing mat for in the changing rooms whilst I got changed. There is only one baby changing thing so I just laid her flat so she couldn’t fall. Just wear …
