Hand numb and finger pain
I'm 32w. Since this past weekend I've felt my hands more numb than ever. Plus the two middle fingers hurt as hell, I cant close them. I'm still working and I have to be with a scanner for 10h. I had to leave today because It was soo painful to take the scanner, I couldnt cloae my hands. I've tried with cold water, hot water, hand exercises, fisiocrem. Nothing helps! 😩
Any recommendation??

This sounds like the carpel tunnel I have, need to get a referral to physio for splints x
This is carpal tunnel, I have it normally and haven't had much change in pregnancy with my symptoms until the last week or so, I'm 34 + 3 weeks.
The best thing is to go to a chemist and buy a wrist splint to sleep in, I imagine it's worse on your dominant hand? Try and keep your arm straight when sleeping, my best position is laid on my dominant arm with it straight out next to me (this isn't always possible though)
At work you need to try and avoid lifting with it and if you're at a desk ask/ buy a wrist support mouse mat 👍
The middle finger pain and the not being able to close your fingers is the freaking worsed 🙈
I’m also suffering from this and I am 35 weeks I’ve had it since 32 week and it got progressively worse I have to sleep in wrist splint on both hands ami can’t bend my wrist my fingers are constantly swollen and I can’t bend my middle finger on my right hand I’ve had to go on maternity early as I’m a hairdresser and I was struggling to do my job it’s awful it’s meant to disappear after pregnancy I hope so 🤞🏼
I had this with my first baby and it was horrific. Sleep in splints and just try and use your fingers as well as you can. If it makes you feel any better, mine went practically as soon as I had given birth to my little boy and I haven’t had it at all this pregnancy (now 35+1) !!
