Sick during cold
Hi all, my lo has a cold for the past 5 days, he is very congested and can barely breathe no matter how much I use nasal spray and sucker. I think all of that mucus is going into his throat. Today after dinner he threw up. I read that it can be from the cold. Has anyone experienced this before?

My LO has an upper respiratory infection with a stinking cold, tonsillitis and an ear infection. He’s now on antibiotics after two trips to urgent care.
With his cold all the mucus is running down to his belly and he is projectile vomiting I’ve reduced his milk oz’s a little and giving it to him little and often and lots of water to help thin the mucus. I’ve tried to keep him really elevated where I can. I know they say the nasal spray is good but I actually have reduced giving it to him because I found my little one was getting worse and more congested so I just use the sucker once a day.
I hope your little one gets better soon - also make sure your looking after yourself it really is exhausting looking after them when there poorly 😢 I’ve currently got a chest infection as well and antibiotics and have really struggled looking after my little one x
thank you for your reply, we have been to GP and they said ear/throat seemed ok. But poor guy is so uncomfortable, I don't know where all of that mucus is coming from. Now me and my husband are starting to feel ill as well🙈 you also take care of yourself🥰
