Can you get a late positive test if you have PCOS?

Sorry if my question may sound dumb but does having PCOS delay the result of pregnancy test, if pregnant? I know that is not my case as my last period was in July, but I'm curious to know how PCOS can affect the result. If you had a delayed positive test, did you still have your normal pregnancy symptoms? Thanks 🌸

PCOS usually delays ovulation which would then cause a delayed period or a late positive (later than you expected)

In a sense I did. I always had fairly regular periods but with slightly longer cycles. I never tested for ovulation but I assumed that I ovulated in the middle of my longer cycle. That wasn’t the case and my ovulation was much later, like day 19-21. I got pregnant by pure chance because we had sex later in the cycle. I tested and got vvvvvvvvfl and didn’t really understand. Then tested a week later and had bfp. So in a sense a late positive, but more because ovulation wasn’t when I thought it was. Hope that helps!
