My lil boy (7 weeks old) has caught covid and we are currently in hospital. His temp is over 38 and not going down with calpol. The nurses have kinda just left us to it. Has anyone else had a newborn catch covid with a positive outcome? I'm so so worried ππ

Hi we where in a similar situation 2 weeks ago. Babys temp 38.8 and high hr, looking at bit mottled at 6 weeks old. we spent 1 night in hospital. And we managed at home with calpol. Definitely quite scary, but at least they knew it was definitely COVID as it stopped them having to do lots of invasive tests. Hope your little one gets better x

Hi hun! Feel free to drop me a message, I was in hospital with my little one just short of two weeks ago because he had covid. He had a temp, a cough and reduced feedings. I know exactly how you feel and I am here for a chat or some reassurance if you need it, just drop me a text :) xx
