Urge to pee but no pee

I have the urge to pee so badly it hurts but when I went to the toilet it was just a tiny bit of pee coming out and it’s just me going toilet back and forth. Anyone else feeling the same? I am 35 weeks and 1 day!

Yes!! I’m 34+4 and it’s so annoying, especially when you just get comfortable so you make the effort to go and it’s a tiny little dribble!! I think it’s baby putting pressure on bladder that’s making it feel full xx

had to walk for a few mins and then lay down on my side 😭😂 was never this bad before hopefully baby don’t put too much pressure thru the night x

I change positions on a toilet when this happens 🙈 rocking back and forth, spreading legs wider ..
sometimes I end up sort of standing, like I would in the public toilet..
basically, whatever position to move the bump out of the bladder area, if that makes sense.

This is what cystitis feels like! Not a huge deal and very common but speak to your midwife x

This has been me all pregnancy. Feels like how my bladder would behave from a UTI but no pain or smells. It always seemed to happen most during the day when I was at work, then then I was peeing normally when I got home/at night. Hoping it all goes back to normal when baby arrives, I miss bladder control lol 😆

I had this, went to the dr coz it was getting so bad. Turns out I had a urine infection and with the baby pressing on the bladder made it worse. A course of antibiotics cleared it up,now its just baby getting bigger

I get this too, defo try moving around on the toilet and rocking a bit to find which position helps. Also make sure no UTI or anything! X

Thanks everyone for the replies really appreciate it X and I’m sure it isn’t a UTI and it’s probably baby pressing down as I don’t feel the discomfort anymore x
