All of a sudden my lo thinks it's funny to bite and choke me.

Mine has bitten me a couple times. She's teething so I don't make a deal about it and just redirect her to a teething toy. I feel like if you make a deal out of something at this age they do it to get a response out of you. Best to stop what they're doing and redirect with positive/gentle touch if they want attention or a toy.
He will actively seek out my toes and bite them. Yes he's teething, but that doesn't explain the Choking.

Has he seen that somewhere? On tv or a video game someone played near him? Does he go to daycare where other kids might be doing it?
Similar to Allie, mine has bitten me a couple of times but I redirect and it doesn’t become a habit. It’s also usually my nose like she’s trying to kiss it. She usually imitates things she’s seen though. She wouldn’t dare bite my toe, she can’t get away from my feet fast enough 😂

I can't really explain the choking if he even knows what he's doing. They're still learning how to touch gently at this age. They're still babies, so you can't really have action to have him stop, other than redirecting to stop the habit from progressing into toddler years.
Maybe talk to your doctor if you are concerned about a behavioral issue.

How old is he

Mine is the same right now with voting, thinks it's hi👏lar👏i👏ous👏 🙄. Mostly like the 'reaction' that it gets, though I try not go react, so pretty age appropriate and probably not cause for concern. I understand to use as adults it can feel quite disturbing though
Just came back from physio and I have brought my son quite a few times.
I've been going because I torn my rotator a few years ago and my shoulder randomly will dislocated.
Maybe he's trying to imitate her?
