I had my first missed miscarriage when we went for our 12 week scan. Baby hadn't got past 10 weeks.. opted for surgical management but unfortunately it was a disaster and ended up having 3 surgeries over 8weeks until I was no longer pregnant
Second pregnancy ive had morning sickness and all the strong symptoms but I've just been for out 9 week scan to find out the baby never got past 7weeks. Going to try the medical route this time as worried about scarring from already having 3 surgeries.
The nhs just says it's bad luck and chance. And they won't explore further until 3 losses
Anyone experience similar and have a positive story. We get pregnant quickly. Just our babies don't make it and my body won't give them up.
I just need some hope.

Hi lovely, I’m so sorry you’re going though this. There’s nothing anyone can say to make you feel better. I had a missed miscarriage and then another early loss one after another, after having my first born. I’m now currently 17 weeks with our double rainbow baby. Your happily ever after will happen❤️❤️

Hi lovely , I’ve just had my second miscarriage in June/July there and looking to hear about some positive stories aswell ,
If you need anyone to chat to my messages are always open ❤️
Hope you get your little rainbow baby soon gal xx

I’m in a similar situation after an ectopic and a miscarriage in the last year. I’m pregnant again and terrified the worst will happen, for us I haven’t got past 6 weeks yet so I have two weeks of hell to get through before I can even breathe. They are changing the system and if you shout loud enough they will do some blood work at least, I managed to get them to do this despite nothing of note coming up.
Hopefully I can come back and give you some hope but there are lots of stories on here of successful pregnancies after multiple miscarriages.
I hope you get the answers and support you need xxx

Hey lovely🙂 I am so sorry you’re going though this, it is heartbreaking and dont think there is anything anyone can say to make this better! Just take some time to heal🥰 I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in January 2022 and then lost my wee boy in January 2023 when I was 17 weeks pregnant.. I am now 26 weeks pregnant with my double rainbow baby and the pregnancy is going superb♥️ I know it doesn’t feel like it now but your time will come! x

Thankyou everyone. I just needed to hear that. Hopefully this is all over in the next few days. Just desperately hoping the medical management works because I can't face another surgery. 4 in one year would just be too cruel. Xxx

@Emily they are really reluctant here to give progesterone unless you've had recurrent miscarriage AND have bleeding. But when I next get pregnant ill push for it or maybe even look at getting them privately. But I have heard good things. Thankyou xx

I had two missed miscarriages over a six month period. I got pregnant the month after my second one and he’s now a healthy happy 10 month old. I’m sorry for your loss. It’s so hard. I hope there will be joy on the other side 🌧️ 🌈

I'd ask about them investigating. My surgeon who did my procedure said ask at my gp and they will refer without having to have 3.. I had 1 mc then my living baby and recently a missed mc and I received a letter from the clinic sending for a scan and blood tests but weren't able to see me in person due to not having 3 mc and also said if I find out I'm pregnant then to ring up and ask for Progesterone pessaries. So they can do background checks but not see you in person I think. This was with Worcestershire nhs

@Katy S it's so frustrating how different trusts can be so different. I was meant to have a follow up with a consultant after the last miscarriage in August. But it got cancelled and moved to November.
I don't get why some places are more willing to prescribe progesterone than others. I know they said they don't have the full funding here

yeah I was told before that I needed to have 3 before anything so was quite suprised when he said ask your gp to refer you. Blood tests have all come back fine 👍 just waiting for scan results.. I know i have a tilted uterus though, she said it was really flexed and pointing back and towards my right shoulder 🤦♀️🤷♀️

@Katy S I went to the gp the same day who was super sympathetic. But got up the guidelines and said she couldn't do any of the in depth tests but could do a blood test for thyroid and lh
I we've booked in with a private recurrent miscarriage specialist. Will be good to have someone take thr time to talk to us and let us know options and tests even if we have to pay at this stage

sounds like a good idea. It's very interesting.. As I saw baby on screen at private scan at supposedly 8 weeks 4 days but baby measured 8 weeks and no heartbeat. It's so heartbreaking. And I wish I knew why it happened. They did say though that even after thorough testing the majority are just caused by chromosomal issues. I hope you get some answers ❤️

Hey! I had 2 miscarriages around the same time. First time we found out the baby didn't have a heartbeat, and then the second time right before getting a scan I had a second miscarriage. The 3rd time I got pregnant I was so joyful and scared at the same time....and I just had my first babygirl in June! I'm sending sticky baby dust your way! Don't give up ♡

Thanyou everyone ❤️ been a horrid weekend taking the medical management but you've all given me so much hope to try again
