Anyone else struggling owning a dog with a baby

I have a 2 year old border collie and I am so physically and mentally drained with my 9 month old baby that I don’t enjoy owning a dog right now. It’s more of a burden now to walk her in the morning and I don’t really have the time to play with her. My husband walks her on the evening which means he doesn’t really see the baby for long during the week.
She can be naughty on walks at times which doesn’t help… 😂

We have a 2.5 Yr old cavalier king charles, thankfully he's a kind of does what you want dog. Happy to be a chilled out lap dog, but equally willing to go on a huge hike. Collies are high energy though so I feel for you!
Are there any doggy day care type places near you? We have one which pick up, dogs have at least 2 hrs play in a dog field with toys etc and then they drop home for £16. He goes every Tuesday and helps tire him out for a bit, I'd send him more but obviously the cost ramps up.
When out with her do you take the pram? I always have baby girl in a wrap / baby carrier which makes things easier, just a little awkward bending down to clean up after him though 😂

We got a puppy when I was 30 weeks pregnant, for the most part, he’s a good boy. My partner gives him a 15 minute walk in the morning, then he has 2 lick mats and a kong toy that releases biscuits for him to play with throughout the day. Then when my partner comes home, he plays with the baby/gives him dinner and I walk the dog for 45 minutes. He has a few chews like buffalo horns etc that he goes in his crate to chew/play with throughout the day or he’s outside playing with his toys. If the baby is content playing on his own or eating, I’ll play with the dog. He is also naughty on his walks!

Yeh I have a cocker poo and he’s 2.5 he hates the baby gets really anxious round her has growled at her

I don’t want to re home him but I don’t trust him round her at all and won’t have him in the same room if I’m on my own

It’s so tough

Yep me too.
Me baby and dog do a two hour walk in the morning which I’d do anyway without the dog. But I’ve no energy to play with him, I get frustrated at him when babys asleep and he’s loud.

Yes 100% I’ve got a cocker spaniel & he’s my baby but it changes so much when you have a baby.
It’s hard to do it all. I struggle myself sometimes then I feel guilty as he was here first. Mum guilt & dog mum guilt 🤦🏼‍♀️
