Can you direct a fan onto baby in this heat or is there some guideline out there saying that’s also a no 🤣

I read somewhere not to have it blowing directly at baby, something to do with regulating their temp and possible respiratory problems?? I’m not 100%🤣 but I know it’s fine to have on circling the room x

Apparently it can make them struggle to catch their breath (or so the nurse at the hospital after I had given birth said). Not sure what age they grow out of that though x

I’ve had it on his body, just one of the weak baby pram fans with the foam blades. Anything stronger than that then I wouldn’t

We've had air con and a fan in our bedroom since LO was born (room gets over 30c in summer!)
I don't have either blowing on her just circulating in the room.

It’s not a good idea to point it directly at baby as it can affect their breathing. Same if you blow in their face, they’ll stop breathing for a second. You can still use it to get some air circulation but pointing it away from baby.
