6 day old has lump on back of head

It has got bigger from a few days ago, my partner thinks it’s where the skull joins together but I’m pretty sure it shouldn’t leave a lump? Should I get it checked out? My partner says not to but can’t help but worry

My boy had something similar when he was a newborn - I got both HV and GP to check but they weren't concerned and said it'll likely resolve with time as skull still fusing.
Its probably nothing but I'd get it checked just to put your mind at ease ❤️

I should say - there's no lump now and he's doing great if it's any reassurance 😊
