Mastitis

Yeah I’ve got it at the minute. It’s very painful, I’m on day 8 of antibiotics. You’ll need to ring your gp or midwife and get antibiotics prescribed. I was really poorly with it at first had bad flu symptoms

I had it with my 2nd baby bad and had antibiotics for it, it took 5 days to get better then. I got it last week with this baby but I noticed it quickly as I knew the symptoms and I did everything it said to do on the nhs website plus expressed every 4 hours for 10 mins and put some cabbage leaves down my bra and I managed to get rid of it within 24/48 hours luckily. If you feel any flu like symptoms though or you can’t get rid of it within 12-24 hours call your gp
