Hi Charlie, my son had his done at 5 weeks old (6 weeks ago) I waited until he was 5 weeks because I just couldn’t go through with it knowing what the procedure was and all that. Plus he wasn’t struggling in any way with breastfeeding and putting weight on so it was hard to decide and I didn’t know enough about it as I’d never met anyone that had tongue tie or heard about it. I’m so glad we did get it done, for sure the day it was done he was abit iffy but he was sooo happy after that! Always sticking his tongue out and smiling 🥰

It will absolutely get better!! I had my sons done at 2/3 weeks (only because I was in hosp so someone came to see him otherwise I expect I would still be waiting) and he was sooo sad after. Broke my heart. Gave him plenty of skin to skin and cuddles and booby and he perked up come the next day. You’re doing what’s best for him mama

He’s dribbling a lot and he dribbled out some blood is this ok?
