Raspberry leaf tea

Hiya so I wanted to try that raspberry leaf tea everyone keeps going on about, not sure if it’ll help but it’s worth a shot 🤣, does anyone know where to get it I’ve tried Tesco, Morrison’s and Aldi and could only see raspberry mixed with something else like cranberries or something would that still work ?🙈 or any idea where to get it 💗x

I asked my midwife today about this as I keep seeing it everywhere and she said it’s pointless, expensive and not to take it as it’s just a new craze so I’m very confused about it ha xx

I did it from 37 weeks first pregnancy and was 2 weeks overdue🤣 not bothering this time around x

I’ve got mine off Amazon the Hot mama tea one. My midwife at antenatal said it does definitely help but obvs doesn’t work for everyone as with anything!! She said it helps more with prepping for labour rather than inducing. I don’t know it will help me at all but I love the taste of it and have been having iced ones in the heat 🤣

Asked my midwife about it and she said its pointless, just another marketing hype. It's supposed to improve the cervix to prepare for labour, not actually induce it. But drinking a tea is not going to make any difference at all.

Boots online does myrtle and maude it's really good 100% and tastes nice. Or you can get on amazon
The heath and Heather is mainly hibiscus and apple as well.

It's not for your cervix and it won't induce labour its for strengthening your uterus and reducing the time of the pushing stage!

@Harriet 34 weeks on 1 cup a day and you can increase to 3 cups per day by 36 weeks

I took this morning, afternoon, and night for two days before my due date with my first. I started getting contractions and my son was born on his due date. It appeared to work for me; or maybe I was going to go into labour anyway? Or maybe it worked because I was so far into my pregnancy? Who knows. It can’t do any harm though trying it. If it doesn’t work for you then at least you tried. I got mine from Holland and Barrett.
