Definitely. My daughter was born with an eye condition and has had to see eye since she was 6 months old (she’s 8 now) Buy she has to go once a year and once she could walk, she was running around the Drs office… My son is also scared of needles and is a runner as well. But they are 8 and 5 and A LOT more tolerant.
Just don’t discount their fear. Consider it real and comfort them they will grow out of it. I promise…. I was less than kind and understanding at times looking back and I wish I had been more understanding of their VERY real fear… You’ll get through it. All kids have stages….

My 2.5 year old started disliking the doctor around that time. I don't blame her since she associates the place with getting vaccines.
We bought a kid stethoscope and play with it at home and bring it to the doctor. I think it made her more comfortable during the visit before the shots.
Thanks ladies !!
